MFA-3D Character Animation
Kaushal Magodia is a 3D animation major student, graduating in fall 2020 with an MFA degree from The Academy of Art University. His area of interest lies in creating animation for videogames and being a gamer himself is the major contributing factor for that. Kaushal is also into Superhero Movies and Animes. He really likes to watch and read the Dragon Ball series and mangas respectively. Since the beginning of his academic program, Kaushal has been determined on sharpening his animation skills and for that, he attended all the 3D animation classes provided by the Academy. His talents did improve a lot, but finishing all 3 levels of Pixar-Animation class brought some noticeable enhancements in his acting and expression change animation. Kaushal has also demonstrated interests in collaboration projects and never pulled back when it came to helping fellow students. Despite being out of credits for this last semester, he is still volunteering on videogame projects like, “Kaiju” and “Peanut Brut”. He has also volunteered for short-film projects, they are, “Good Bad & Beautiful” and “DUEL”.Kaushal likes doing animation in general but his major field of interest, as mentioned before, lies within Videogames. He believes that the level of innovation involved in developing an engaging videogame is something very commendable, as it is not an easy task to accomplish. And, that’s the reason why he aspires to be included in a team working on one.
