MFA - Visual Development

Angela Yen

Angela Yen is a Visual Development artist based in San Francisco from Taiwan, and will be graduate this semester from the Academy of Art University. She has gained The director’s choice for children’s book in AAU Illustration 2019 Spring Show, and 2nd place for web/mobile design in AAU Visual Development 2020 Spring Show.
Angela loves animations and cartoons when she was young. Because of Her passion, She chose to learn 3D animation in undergrad. Through 3D animation, She found out Her passion for designing concept art. Therefore, She decided to earn a Master’s degree in Visual Development.
She enjoys painting oil paintings from daily life to find inspiration. She has worked as an environment and props designer within a student collaboration game project. She is willing to work with teams and solve problems.
