Elissa Gonzales is a Visual Development Artist, currently based in LA after graduating this past December of 2020. Growing up with a passion for animation that stemmed from old Disney films and Hanna-Barbera cartoons like “Johnny Quest” and “The Jetsons,” she now works to integrate her own style of adventure, humor and nostalgia into her designs. Utilizing memory of many childhood thoughts and ideas, as well as daily life’s many inspirations, she enjoys sketching and the process of bringing a design to life through painting. Enjoying the team environment, she has also partaken in Academy of Art’s Studio X as a character, prop and set designer contributing to short films, including development for a feature film pitch. Now, she looks forward to joining the 3D animation industry as a Visual Development artist, character/prop designer and Production Assistant, sharing her passion for animation with others.
