Bolu Oriowo is a 3D Animator, Story Artist and Comic Illustrator who has been using his art to tell stories of far off lands and larger than life adventure ever since the day he decided that picking up a pencil appealed more to him than careers in space travel or professional racecar driving.
Born in the country of Nigeria, Oriowo’s first exposures western culture came in the form of cartoons and animation from overseas.
Be it through animation, comics, storyboards or even illustrations, constructing entertaining narratives for dynamic characters has been a lifelong passion of his.
A constant creator, Bolu has contributed animation work to major YouTube channels, developed cinematics for independent video games and even released his graphic novel “Letters from Midia,” to critical acclaim.
Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he divides his time between freelance animating for independent game studios, drafting his next graphic novel and participating in public speaking events.
