Hello! My name is Jiayi, I go by Serena. I have thought of my life as an “art book” having many pages, some already painted, some yet to come. My favorite art mediums are watercolor and digital painting. I find the beauty in how calming the paint and water interlace with each other. Having a palette and a clean canvas, being with nature, I can create magic through my endless imagination. Art has given me a strong beaming light that displaces the darkness from my heart; it is like the loving warmth from my peers and family. My art journal continues to be a work in progress, one that I believe will include yet more interesting paintings as I look to the future.
