I’ve loved creating stories and characters for as long as I can remember. It’s honestly just how my brain works. I see a person, an object, a gesture, some weird little detail, and immediately start imagining who they are, how they move, and what kind of world they belong in. That instinct never went away, even when I spent so long trying to make my path look more practical or more employable. I earned degrees in graphic design and biomedical art and studied everything from game design to forensic studies, along with classes in sculpture, music, photography, acting, costume design, film, and animation. I enjoyed and am genuinely grateful for all of it, but it took me all that time to realize that the thing I kept coming back to was the thing I should have trusted from the beginning: visual storytelling through character design.
