I am visual development artist that resides outside of Washington, D.C.but originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Creating characters and stories have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I am currently completing an MFA in visual development at the Academy of Art University. I have an undergraduate degree in interior architecture from the University of Tennessee which fuels my love for world building. I enjoy creating characters, props and environments that tell cultural stories. My thesis Hoodoo Grandma seeks to tell a Black American cultural story not always seen in mainstream animation. I desire to create and collaborate with other artists on telling more cultural stories that need to be told.
