Jeongjin (Bella) Park
Jeongjin Bella Park is a 3D Animator based in San Francisco with a Master of Arts in 3D Animation from the Academy of Art University. Her short film Christmas Eve has earned recognition at 7 film festivals and competitions, including Best Animated Short at the Manhattan Film Festival.
Jeongjin specializes in character performance animation, with a focus on readable acting that makes emotion land through movement. Her process is grounded in live-action reference, filming her own performances and translating them into animation with clean physicality and timing.
She believes in the butterfly effect, that even the smallest moment can move people. In one of her body mechanics shots, a butterfly’s gentle presence shifts character’s movement and emotion. She hopes her animation does the same.
