MA- 3D Animation

Millie (Nakyeong) Kwon

Millie Kwon is a 3D character animator and visual storyteller currently pursuing her M.A. in Animation & Visual Effects at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her work focuses on character acting, emotional storytelling, and creating performances that communicate clearly through movement and expression.

She directed a 10-minute 3D animated film, Love End, And, leading a small team through story development, production, and animation. Her experience also includes storyboarding, editing, and collaborative production. Through AAU’s Studio X program, she has worked on professional collaborative projects, including character animation for Golden State Valkyries mascot content and Unreal Engine integration.

Beyond animation, Millie serves as a student leader for Women in Animation at AAU, helping create opportunities for students to connect, collaborate, and engage with the animation community. She enjoys working closely with other artists and hopes to continue growing as a character animator while contributing to productions that bring memorable characters and meaningful stories to life.
