MA - Texturing & Lighting
AnaSophie Ruju
In a nutshell, I found myself gravitating towards the arts since high school. After exploring a few alternatives in college I came to the conclusion that I was an artist at heart, and so reason and pragmatism did not stand a chance. I found myself in a Fine Arts program, focused on contemporary conceptual art, where I could explore ideas while specializing in drawing. After that, I felt that my mind had learned what I needed, but I still felt the need to perfect my drawing skills so I enrolled in an Illustration program. Eventually I found jobs in Museums and so my love for Art History grew as well, leading me to pursue a degree in Art History. However, my curiosity for the arts in every form it takes pushed me towards the digital world and so now I am excited to continue following a path towards texturing 3d assets. I have found my nitche as a look development artist.
All of this to say, I am an artist. I try to make art for a living, and I also make art in my free time.
I also like playing video games and dying my hair fun colors.
I am very easy going and truly enjoy what I do.
