Sanjana Mallya

I graduated from Academy of Art university with an MA in 3d animation and vfx, specialised in Look development and texturing. I am fascinated by the power of light that gives the look and feel of everything that we experience in the world around us and the ability to mimic it in animated movies. I was awarded the winning title for Spring show 2024 in Cinematic lighting shot category. I have a strong foundation in animation theory and practice, with another masters from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology (scripting, film study, sound creation, storyboarding, character design, roto and paper-cut animation) I have also developed graphic design and web design skills through my internship at India Film Project, where I designed web and social media creatives, marketing materials, and brand campaigns. I am passionate about bringing stories to life through animation and watching the magic it brings about. I enjoy collaborating with others and learning new cool stuff, as well as viewing the world from different perspectives. I am a kathak dancer and enjoy reading books, playing badminton, doing crafts during my free time.
