MFA - Visual Development

Dan Patino

Dan Patino is a Visual Development artist from Oceanside, New York, although his family is rooted from Colombia. In 2018, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drawing and Painting from SUNY Purchase College, followed by a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Development from the Academy of Art University in 2024.
Dan has a profound love for visual storytelling, employing a variety of both traditional and modern methods to inspire creativity and foster connections with a wide range of different people. In addition he also has a a passion for playing the drums and listening to a wide variety of music. Currently, he is teaching art at the Ashcan Studio of Art, where his goal is to motivate students and help them develop their artistic skills to their fullest potential. Whether engaging in animation, game design, or creating illustrations, he always focuses on bringing imaginative worlds and unique designs vividly to life.
