BFA - Visual Development

Jazmin Gonzalez

Jazmin Gonzalez is a visual development artist based in San Jose, CA, currently in their senior year at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, pursuing a BFA in Visual Development. Many of their works have a strong visual focus on vibrant colors, fun shapes, and vintage aesthetics (particularly 50s retrofuturism, 60s psychedelia, and 70s glamour), but can easily adapt to any project outside of their comfort zone. Part of what draws Jazmin to visual development is collaborating with others to create a world and its characters to tell a story.

Many of their artistic inspiration comes from vintage fashion, pop culture, and music history. In their free time, Jazmin enjoys drawing vintage-inspired pin-ups, portraits, and cute chibi characters.
