Cierra Shearrill

I’m a senior at the Academy of Art University, where I’m pursuing my BFA in 2D Animation and Visual Effects. My main focus is on 2D animation, storyboarding, character design, and illustration, where I aim to tell stories in creative ways. I have experience working in programs like Maya, ToonBoom, Procreate, Photoshop, and After Effects, and I’m currently working on short films and animatics to expand my artistic range.

Outside of animation, I’m passionate about music and film. I’ve been playing piano since I was a child, and I often try to find spare time to create short films. I’ve been inspired by works like Howl’s Moving Castle and The Lion King, which create heartfelt stories through beautiful visuals. Connecting with my audience is something I constantly strive for, so I approach every project with a strong passion for storytelling.
