MA - Compositing
Hatem Moustafa
I am applying for the position of Nuke Compositor. I have had the privilege of working as a Compositor at Academy of art StudioX, where I worked on several shots for feature films. One of the most challenging shots I worked on involved match moving, where I had to add an object in the middle of the scene and two objects bouncing on the floor. To achieve the desired result, I had to manually track each frame while also using auto-tracking to ensure accuracy. I then solved the camera distortion using Syntheyes and Maya. It was a tedious process, but it was worth every effort to get the objects to match the tracks perfectly. The added object blended seamlessly with the rest of the scene, and the two objects bouncing on the floor appeared natural, and there is no need for further input from other artists.
During my professional experience in sales and marketing industries, I faced a challenging communication and problem-solving situation while working for a company that had planned to remodel some stores in the district and due to the closure of several stores in the area, customers demanded refunds and exchanges, which were not feasible. As a manager, I encountered difficulties in handling such situations with customers. However, I adopted a customer-centric approach and worked with individual customers to find practical solutions that would satisfy them and maintain a positive view of the company.
This experience taught me the importance of effective communication and customer service in managing complex situations while maintaining the company’s reputation. As a professional, that it is essential to prioritize customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and regulations.
