Luis “Alex” Negrette
I’m Alex Negrete, a TA/TD in emphasis in pipeline and compositing. My background combines live action methodologies and workflows from modeling to compositing. I specialize in project structure, and artist tools that facilitates the transition of assets between departments.
Proficient in Python, Linux, and PySide with workflow knowledge in Maya, Substance, Blender, Houdini, Unreal and Nuke. I approach problems to solve for artist efficiency and a communication bridge between the artist and the engineering teams.
Over the past year I worked in multiple departments feature and short films in compositing as a lead in StudioX. I also was part of the second cohort of substance ambassadors by Adobe and build a small app for a small company in Mexico using python. I am eager to keep implementing cutting edge tools for artists to facilitate workflows for your production and artist teams.
